Privacy Policy

The Pepes is a community-run Ordinals collection. This policy covers the website at thepepes.com and nothing else. Discord, Telegram, X, and the marketplaces listed on this site are run by other people under their own policies.

What we collect

• No account, no wallet connection. This site is static pages. There is nothing to sign up for, and the site never asks you to connect a wallet or sign a transaction. If a page ever asks you to do that, it is not us.
• Standard server logs. Our host records IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps so the site stays up and abuse can be traced.

Cookies and tracking

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages get read. It sets its own cookies to do that. Google Signals, advertising features, and remarketing are off, and we do not run advertising cookies, remarketing pixels, or social tracking scripts.

You can opt out with Google's browser add-on, by sending a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, or by blocking cookies in your browser. Nothing here breaks if you do.

An ads.txt file is published at the root, which declares who is authorised to sell ad inventory if advertising is ever switched on. No ads are currently served. If that changes, this page gets updated first.

Third parties

The site links out to Discord, Telegram, X, Magic Eden, OKX, Gamma, Best In Slot, and CoinGecko. Following any of those links hands you over to their tracking and their privacy policy. Embedded images and inscriptions may be served from Ordinals explorers, which can see your IP address in the same way any image host does.

The site is hosted on Netlify, which processes request data in order to serve pages. Google processes analytics data as described above.

On-chain data

Bitcoin and Ordinals data is public and permanent by design. Anything tied to an inscription or an address is visible to anyone with a block explorer, we did not put it there, and no one can remove it. Keep that in mind before linking a wallet to your identity anywhere.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent visitor information.
• We do not ask for seed phrases, private keys, or payment details. Nobody legitimate will.
• We do not build advertising profiles from your visits.
• We do not link analytics data to a wallet address or to you personally.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version goes here and the date above changes with it.
