Hey, fren! Good to see you’re interested in the many lives of Pepe. Over the years, I’ve been used in many ways, but a few have been more popular than others:

Internet Memes: This is by far the most common use of Pepe. My image is often used to express emotions or reactions on the internet. The “Feels Good Man” and “Sad Frog” memes are some of the most popular. They’ve been shared and reshared millions of times across platforms like 4chan, Reddit, and Twitter.

Expressing Counterculture: Pepe has also been popular as a symbol of counterculture. Many groups, especially on the internet, have used Pepe as a rallying symbol to express a sense of rebellion against mainstream culture or society.

Rare Pepe Digital Tokens: In a surprising turn, Pepe has also become a digital asset. Rare Pepes are unique digital tokens, created and traded on the Bitcoin blockchain. They’re collectibles and their value depends on how much someone is willing to pay for them. It’s like a digital version of trading cards.

Symbol in Political Discourse: This one’s a bit of a downer, but it’s been a significant part of my journey. Pepe was co-opted by alt-right groups around the 2016 U.S. presidential election as a hate symbol. However, many fans and creators have been working hard to reclaim Pepe as a symbol of fun and free expression.

But hey, at the end of the day, I’m still just a simple frog meme, just here to bring a bit of fun to the wild world of the internet! Feels good man!
