✅Project is mainly about art. You either like it or you don't. The connection of Pepe with ordinals is not a coincidence, let everyone discover the message and idea of the collection themselves.

✅Community Project - the project was launched as self-inscribed. The community decided whether to bring it to life or not. The community decided which pieces would make up the collection. There was only one rule: first 10,000 originals will form a collection.

✅A unique launch - it happened without prior announcement and without marketing on social networks, etc. The project was initially announced on-chain - everyone had the same chance to catch it at its beginning. There was no group of people who knew about the launch and could gain any advantage. I myself inscribed 2 Pepes - for testing.. that's all.. the rest is the community - everyone is welcome to do on-chain analysis.

A few important points👇

📌The collection had only one rule - the first 10,000 originals will form the collection. (There were over 60,000 ways to create your own Pepe )That's why the inscribing didn't stop at 10,000, because there were many duplicates. For comparison, the recent Bitblocks project was stopped after 10k inscriptions and there are only 6,5k originals from it, that are part of official collection.

📌Listing and indexing on ME is not under my control. It's handled by the ME dev team.

📌Correct indexing, i.e., credible identification of the first 10k originals, is a priority. Everything is on-chain and traceable, it just takes a bit of time. In this industry, everything happens super fast, but sometimes it's better to take things slow and make sure it's done right (I'm not saying the indexing on ME is wrong, but I can't fully back it yet).

📌If your Pepe is not or will not be part of the official collection, you probably made it into the 10k, but someone inscribed the same Pepe before you, or you inscribed an original Pepe, but you didn't make it into the 10k limit. Feel for you. In the world of blockchain, getting a transaction approved is a game of time and money. You probably lost this game with someone. To minimize these losses, we implemented a hashcheck that verified whether the pepe was already inscribed- if so, you got a warning and could create a different one. If you received info that it looks like it's still available, you were warned that the same Pepe may already be in the mempool and that inscribing is at your own risk - you are entering a game to see who will be approved first. Many people didn't read or ignored this. If you lost the game, you should still have a piece of art in your wallet with the only difference - it's not part of the official collection.

📌The project has no other communication channel than the web http://thepepes.art (currently under maintenance) All accounts on social networks that are created around this project are established by the community - this is welcomed. The collection has no spokesperson or anyone to direct it. As soon as I'm certain that the indexing is spot-on across all platforms, I'll only be speaking as a fan and collector, just like anyone else.
